Where requested by the Commission, the MSSG may coordinate measures taken by the national competent authorities, the marketing authorisation holders and other entities, including representatives of healthcare professionals and of patients, as relevant, to prevent or mitigate actual or potential shortages of medicinal products in the context of a public health emergency or major event.
