(27) The Commission should strengthen cooperation and activities with the Member States, the ECDC, EMA, other Union agencies or bodies, research infrastructures and the WHO to improve, through the One Health approach, the prevention of communicable diseases, such as vaccine preventable diseases, as well as other health issues, such as antimicrobial resistance.
