DIRECTIVE (EU) 2023/2225 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 18 October 2023 on credit agreements for consumers and repealing Directive 2008/48/EC · European Union

Member States may require creditors to assess the creditworthiness of consumers on the basis of a consultation of the relevant database. However, the assessment of creditworthiness shall not be based exclusively on the consumer’s credit history.
