Regulation (EU) 2023/435 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 February 2023 amending Regulation (EU) 2021/241 as regards REPowerEU chapters in recovery and resilience plans and amending Regulations (EU) No 1303/2013, (EU) 2021/1060 and (EU) 2021/1755, and Directive 2003/87/EC · European Union

(32) Council Regulation (EU) 2022/1854 (13) introduces a temporary solidarity contribution for Union companies and permanent establishments with activities in the crude petroleum, natural gas, coal and refinery sectors applicable in all Member States. Member States are invited to use a proportion of the proceeds generated by that temporary contribution to foster synergies and complementarities with the reforms and investments in their REPowerEU chapters in a coherent manner, for the funding of measures to be implemented at national level in accordance with the REPowerEU objectives.
