Importers shall verify whether the communication channels referred to in Article 9(11) are publicly available to consumers, thereby allowing them to present complaints and communicate any accident or safety issue they have experienced with the product. If such channels are not available, importers shall provide for them, taking into account accessibility needs for persons with disabilities.
