The Commission may, by means of implementing acts, set out, for specific products or categories of products, requirements to be met by economic operators and providers of online marketplaces to provide the possibility for consumers to register a product they have purchased in order to be notified directly in the case of a product safety recall or safety warning in relation to that product, in accordance with paragraph 1 of this Article. Those implementing acts shall be adopted in accordance with the examination procedure referred to in Article 46(3).
