By 14 July 2026 and every five years thereafter, the Commission shall submit a specific report on the assessment of Article 6(4) and (5) of this Regulation to the European Parliament and to the Council. The reports shall be made public. The Commission shall include in its reports the following: (a) a summary of data and information provided by Member States in accordance with Article 6(5) during the reporting period; (b) an assessment of the list of categories of machinery or related products in Annex I in view of the criteria set out in Article 6(4). In the reports, the Commission shall assess the appropriateness and availability of data and information provided by Member States, including its sufficiency and suitability for the purposes of making comparisons, identifying any shortcomings, necessary to ensure effective functioning and enforcement of Article 6.
