Article 43 — Obligations of fulfilment service providers

REGULATION (EU) 2023/1542 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 12 July 2023 concerning batteries and waste batteries, amending Directive 2008/98/EC and Regulation (EU) 2019/1020 and repealing Directive 2006/66/EC (Text with EEA relevance) · European Union

Fulfilment service providers shall ensure that, for batteries that they handle, the conditions during warehousing, packaging, addressing or dispatching, do not jeopardise the batteries’ compliance with Articles 6 to 10 and Articles 12, 13 and 14. Without prejudice to the obligations of the relevant economic operators laid down in this Chapter, fulfilment service providers shall, in addition to the requirement referred to in the first paragraph, perform the tasks laid down in Article 40(3), point (c), and Article 40(4).
