Article 50

Regulation (EU) 2023/2411 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 October 2023 on the protection of geographical indications for craft and industrial products and amending Regulations (EU) 2017/1001 and (EU) 2019/1753 (Text with EEA relevance) · European Union

1. Member States shall designate one or more competent authorities responsible for the controls provided for in this Title. 2. The competent authorities referred to in paragraph 1 shall be objective and impartial and act in a transparent manner. They shall have at their disposal qualified staff and the resources necessary to carry out their functions efficiently.
