Article 63

Regulation (EU) 2023/2411 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 October 2023 on the protection of geographical indications for craft and industrial products and amending Regulations (EU) 2017/1001 and (EU) 2019/1753 (Text with EEA relevance) · European Union

Regulation (EU) 2017/1001 is amended as follows: In Article 151(1), the following point is inserted: (*1) Regulation (EU) 2023/2411 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 October 2023 on the protection of geographical indications for craft and industrial products and amending Regulations (EU) 2017/1001 and (EU) 2019/1753 (OJ L, 2023/2411, 27.10.2023, ELI: http://data.europa.eu/eli/reg/2023/2411/oj).’;" administration and promotion of geographical indications for craft and industrial products, in particular the tasks conferred on it under Regulation (EU) 2023/2411 of the European Parliament and of the Council (*1) and promotion of the system for the protection of those geographical indications. In Article 153(1), the following point is added: adopting the rules of procedure of the Advisory Board referred to in Article 35(8) of Regulation (EU) 2023/2411.’; In Article 170, paragraph 2 is replaced by the following: ‘2. Any natural or legal person may use the Centre’s services on a voluntary basis with the aim of reaching a friendly settlement of disputes, based on this Regulation, Regulation (EC) No 6/2002 or Regulation (EU) 2023/2411, by mutual agreement.’.
