Where Member States establish a register of frozen and confiscated property pursuant to paragraph 1, Member States shall ensure that any personal data stored in the register can be accessed and used for the purposes of freezing, confiscation and the management of instrumentalities, proceeds or property which is or might become the object of a confiscation order, in accordance with the applicable data protection rules.
