(32) In order to safeguard market participants’ continued trust in the consolidated tape, CTPs should periodically publish a series of reports concerning compliance with their obligations under this Regulation, namely performance statistics and incident reports relating to data quality and data systems. Due to the highly technical nature of those reports, the content, timing, format and terminology of the reporting obligation should be specified by means of regulatory technical standards.
