Article 56

Regulation (EU) 2024/1157 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 April 2024 on shipments of waste, amending Regulations (EU) No 1257/2013 and (EU) 2020/1056 and repealing Regulation (EC) No 1013/2006 (Text with EEA relevance) · European Union

1. Where waste is imported into the Union from overseas countries or territories, Title II shall apply mutatis mutandis. 2. An overseas country or territory and the Member State to which it is linked may apply national procedures of that Member State to shipments from the overseas country or territory to that Member State in case no other countries are involved in the shipment as country of transit. Where a Member State applies national procedures to such shipments, it shall notify the Commission thereof.
