‘3. By 10 July 2025, ESMA shall prepare a report on whether ESG risks are appropriately reflected in ECAI credit risk rating methodologies and submit that report to the Commission. On the basis of that report, the Commission shall, where appropriate, submit a legislative proposal to the European Parliament and to the Council by 10 January 2026.’
