For the purpose of calculating risk-weighted exposure amounts for undrawn facilities, liens that satisfy all eligibility requirements set out in paragraph 3 and, where applicable, paragraph 4, may be recognised where drawing under the facility is conditional on the prior or simultaneous filing of a lien to the extent of the institution’s interest in the lien once the facility is drawn, such that the institution does not have any interest in the lien to the extent that the facility is not drawn.
