Regulation (EU) 2024/1781 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 13 June 2024 establishing a framework for the setting of ecodesign requirements for sustainable products, amending Directive (EU) 2020/1828 and Regulation (EU) 2023/1542 and repealing Directive 2009/125/EC (Text with EEA relevance) · European Union

the Commission has requested, pursuant to Article 10(1) of Regulation (EU) No 1025/2012, one or more European standardisation organisations to draft a harmonised standard for an ecodesign requirement, for an essential requirement for digital product passports referred to in Articles 10 and 11 of this Regulation or for a test, measurement or calculation method referred to in Article 39 of this Regulation; and: the request has not been accepted; the harmonised standard addressing that request is not delivered within the deadline set in accordance with Article 10(1) of Regulation (EU) No 1025/2012; or the harmonised standard does not comply with the request; and
