2. This Regulation does not apply to: lifts subject to Directive 2014/33/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council (21), escalators or their components; requirements or performance assessment subject to Directive (EU) 2020/2184 of the European Parliament and of the Council (22) and covered by the delegated acts of the Commission referred to in Article 11(8) of that Directive.
