Recital 51
(51) Information concerning the marketing of a failing insurance or reinsurance undertaking and negotiations with potential acquirers prior to the application of the sale-of-business tool is likely to be sensitive and might pose risks to trust in the insurance market. It is therefore important to ensure that the disclosure to the public of such information, which is required by Regulation (EU) No 596/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council (7), can be delayed for the time necessary to plan and structure the resolution of the insurance or reinsurance undertaking concerned.
