(8) A number of legislative acts have recently been proposed and adopted to improve resilience and that contribute to sustainability, in particular in relation to sustainability reporting, including Regulation (EU) 2019/2088 of the European Parliament and of the Council (6), Directive (EU) 2022/2464 of the European Parliament and of the Council (7), and a directive on corporate sustainability due diligence and amending Directive (EU) 2019/1937, all of which affect the insurance and reinsurance sector.
