the second subparagraph is replaced by the following: ‘Article 4(4) to (9) of Directive 2000/60/EC shall apply mutatis mutandis to the substances listed in points (i) and (ii), of the first subparagraph of this paragraph. Article 4(4) to (9) of Directive 2000/60/EC shall also apply mutatis mutandis to the substances listed in points (iii) and (iv) of the first subparagraph of this paragraph. Insofar as the time extensions provided for in Article 4(4) of that Directive are concerned, they shall be limited to a maximum of one further update of the river basin management plan except in cases where the natural conditions are such that the objectives cannot be achieved within that river basin management plan period.’;
