6. Notwithstanding paragraph 1, the following shall apply: Articles 4 to 13 shall not apply to parts of a vehicle that have been type-approved in a multi-stage type-approval of category M2, M3, N2, N3 or O other than the base vehicle; the other provisions of this Regulation apply to the extent that they apply to the category of the vehicle concerned; Article 5 shall not apply to special purpose vehicles of categories M2, M3, N2, N3 or O; Articles 7 and 11 shall apply to L-category vehicles only with respect to entries 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 10 and 11 of Part C of Annex VIII; Article 7 shall apply to vehicles of categories M2, M3, N2, N3 and O only with respect to entries 1, 3, 4 and 5 of Part C of Annex VIII; Article 8 shall apply to L-category vehicles only with respect to the obligations applicable for such vehicles; Article 16, point (b), shall not apply to L-category vehicles and vehicles of categories M2, M3, N2, N3, or O and special purpose vehicles of categories M1, M2, M3, N1, N2, N3, or O; Member States may exempt L1e, L2e and L6e-category vehicles from the obligations under Article 23(6) and Articles 25, 36 and 37; for L-category vehicles and vehicles of categories M2, M3, N2, N3, and O and for special purpose vehicles of categories M2, M3, N2, N3 and O, Article 29 shall only apply with respect to entries 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 10 and 11 of Part C of Annex VIII; for L-category vehicles and for vehicles of categories M2, M3, N2, N3 and O, Articles 47 to 50 shall only apply with respect to reporting and enforcement of obligations applicable for such vehicle categories.
