Article 59

Regulation (EU) 2026/1738 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 8 July 2026 on circularity requirements for vehicle design and on management of end-of-life vehicles, amending Regulations (EU) No 168/2013, (EU) 2018/858, (EU) 2019/1020 and (EU) 2023/1542 and repealing Directives 2000/53/EC and 2005/64/EC (Text with EEA relevance) · European Union

1. This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union. 2. It shall apply from 1 September 2028. However, Articles 4(3), 5(2) to (9), 6(4) to (9), 6(11), 7(3), 7(4), 9(7), 11(4), 12(2), 13(6), 14(4), 15(6), 21(2), 22(6), 26(3), 37(3), 41(3), 46(5) and 50(5) shall apply from 14 September 2026, Article 53 shall apply from 13 August 2026 and Article 55 shall apply from 1 September 2032.
