(12) Decision (CFSP) 2026/1849 introduces an exemption from the prohibition to transfer and to provide technical assistance, brokering services or financing or financial assistance, related to the transfer to third countries of liquefied natural gas (LNG) which originates in or is exported from Russia. That exemption aims to mitigate adverse consequences for the energy supply of certain partner countries.
