(295) The Court confirmed this in Joined Case C-70/17 and C-179/17 Abanca Corporación Bancaria and Bankia, paragraph 55: ‘In the present case, the mere removal of the ground for termination making the terms at issue in the main proceedings unfair would ultimately be tantamount to revising the content of those terms by altering their substance. Therefore, those terms cannot be maintained in part without directly adversely affecting the dissuasive effect referred to in the preceding paragraph.’
