COMMISSION NOTICE Guidelines for economic operators and market surveillance authorities on the practical implementation of Article 4 of Regulation (EU) 2019/1020 on market surveillance and compliance of products · European Union

(46) In accordance with Article 7(1) of the Regulation, economic operators (as defined in Article 3) have an obligation to cooperate with market surveillance authorities regarding certain actions. Recital 24 of the Regulation states that this includes providing the contact information of the economic operator with tasks regarding products subject to certain Union harmonisation legislation where requested by authorities and where this information is available to them.
