COMMISSION NOTICE Assessment of plans and projects in relation to Natura 2000 sites – Methodological guidance on the provisions of Article 6(3) and (4) of the Habitats Directive 92/43/EEC · European Union

(28) Member States have 6 years from the time the site has been listed on the EU list to adopt site-specific conservation objectives and designate the SCI as an SAC. For SPAs, appropriate site-specific conservation objectives must be in place as from the date of their classification.
