In addition, Article 3(3) lists specific categories of contracts excluded from the scope of application of the Directive. For example, the Directive does not apply to contracts for financial services, including insurance and investment. Social and healthcare services, gambling, timeshare and related holiday services are also excluded. Passenger transport services and package travel contracts (33) are excluded in principle, although specific provisions still apply.
