(29) Directive 2009/125/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 October 2009 establishing a framework for the setting of eco-design requirements for energy-related products (OJ L 285, 31.10.2009, p. 10) contains a specific information requirement on the role consumers can play in the sustainable use of the product.
