§4 REGULATORY CHOICES
Paragraphs 3 to 5 of Article 6a offer Member States the possibility to derogate from the general rule on price reductions in the case of: — goods which are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly (‘perishable goods’); — goods which have been on the marked for less than 30 days (‘new arrivals’ goods); and — successive price reductions within a period of 30 days.
