COMMUNICATION FROM THE COMMISSION Commission Notice on the definition of the relevant market for the purposes of Union competition law · European Union
(13) For the purposes of this Notice, the term ‘competitive assessment’ means those parts of the Commission’s substantive assessment of an issue of Union competition law that do not relate to market definition. That includes in particular the assessment of the existence of a dominant position, where applicable, and the assessment of the likely effects on competition of the conduct of the undertaking(s) involved or of a concentration.
