COMMISSION NOTICE Guidance to the Member States for the collection of the data and the information referred to in Article 6 (5), points (a) to (d), of Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 of the European Parliament and the Council · European Union

For each category of machinery or related product, relevant information on the data sources used as well as the quality and the coverage of the data by source should be provided. When the number of occurrences in a given year is indicated to be zero, it should be made clear whether there is a lack of data or there are no occurrences. The description of the main defects and origins of faults found and the potential harm that these defects or faults might cause should also be given in this field.
