General instructions

Pursuant to Article 6(9) of the Regulation, the Template shall be filled-in and submitted by 20 July 2025, and every five years thereafter. The Template, submitted in a given year (Y), covers data and information concerning a period of five years as indicated in the relevant columns of the Template. In the context of the Template: Y-2 (year of submission minus 2): covers the second calendar year, from 1 January to 31 December, preceding the year of submission of the report; Y-3 (year of submission minus 3): covers the third calendar year (from 1 January to 31 December) preceding the year of submission of the report; Y-4 (year of submission minus 4): covers the fourth calendar year (from 1 January to 31 December) preceding the year of submission of the report; Y-5 (year of submission minus 5): covers the fifth calendar year (from 1 January to 31 December) preceding the year of submission of the report; Y-6 (year of submission minus 6): covers the sixth calendar year (from 1 January to 31 December) preceding the year of submission of the report; EU legislation on machinery means: the Regulation or Directive 2006/42/EC or the EU legislation on machinery applicable prior to Directive 2006/42/EC; It is preferable that the Template is filled-in in the English language. Each Member State should fill-in and submit only one template, in excel format, including all data related to that Member State. The template can be submitted electronically via the relevant functional mailbox.
