(15) The Commission has developed the guidelines by conducting thorough desk research, gathering stakeholder feedback through a call for evidence, workshops and targeted public consultation. The Commission also relied on the expertise of the European Centre of Algorithmic Transparency throughout the processes. Moreover, the Commission consulted with young people, including Better Internet for Kids youth ambassadors and organised focus groups with children in seven Member States, with the support of the Safer Internet Centres.
