The technical documentation is to be prepared with respect to each product (product model), not individual units thereof. However, if the individual units of a product (product model) are produced with different features that may impact their safety (e.g., different colour, different composition, different functionalities), that makes them specific products and specific technical documentation is required for each of them (18).
