A relevant body making a species control order must give notice of the making of the order— to the owner and any occupier of the premises to which the order relates; and where the relevant body is a body other than the Scottish Ministers, to the Scottish Ministers. Notice must— be in writing; specify the relevant body's reasons for making the order; attach a copy of the order; and where the order is an emergency species control order, state that fact.
