Section 48

The enactments mentioned in Schedule 4 to this Act shall have effect subject to the amendments specified in that Schedule (being minor amendments and amendments consequential on the provisions of this Act). The following Acts shall cease to have effect, that is to say— the Trade Descriptions Act 1972; and the Fabrics (Misdescription) Act 1913. The enactments mentioned in Schedule 5 to this Act are hereby repealed to the extent specified in the third column of that Schedule.
