Schedule 2, paragraph 7

If an article of cultural or historical importance or interest cannot lawfully be exported from the United Kingdom unless a copy of it is made and deposited in an appropriate library or archive, it is not an infringement of any right conferred by this Chapter to make that copy. Expressions used in this paragraph have the same meaning as in section 44.
