Section 101A(1)

CDPA 1988

A non-exclusive licensee may bring an action for infringement of copyright if— the infringing act was directly connected to a prior licensed act of the licensee; and the licence— is in writing and is signed by or on behalf of the copyright owner; and expressly grants the non-exclusive licensee a right of action under this section.
