The rights conferred by section 77 (right to be identified as author or director), section 80 (right to object to derogatory treatment of work) and section 85 (right to privacy of certain photographs and films) continue to subsist so long as copyright subsists in the work. The right conferred by section 84 (false attribution) continues to subsist until 20 years after a person’s death.
