Schedule 11, Part II, paragraph 12(1)
This paragraph applies to any land which, immediately before the appointed day is— and of which part is in England and part is in Wales or, as the case may be, part is in England and part is in Scotland (referred to as “the two parts” of such a reserve or area). a nature reserve (within the meaning of Part III of the 1949 Act) which is managed by, or under an agreement entered into with, the Nature Conservancy Council or which is the subject of a declaration under section 35 of the 1981 Act; or an area of special scientific interest which has been notified by the Nature Conservancy Council under section 28(1) of the 1981 Act or is treated by section 28(13) of that Act as having been notified under section 28(1)(a) of that Act or is an area to which an order under section 29(1) of that Act relates;
