Section 116(1)

Each of the Ministers shall have power by regulations to provide that the provisions of this Part or of any other enactment relating to the carrying out by the appropriate agency of such of its functions as relate to fisheries shall have effect with such modifications as may be prescribed by the regulations for the purpose of ...— giving effect to any assimilated obligations, or enabling Her Majesty's Government in the United Kingdom to give effect to any international agreement to which the United Kingdom is for the time being a party.
