Section 200(3)

Subsections (1) and (2) above shall not apply— to any gauge installed for the sole purpose of indicating the level of any inland waters for the benefit of persons who fish in them; or to any gauge which is removed at or before the end of the period of twenty-eight days beginning with the date on which it is installed.
