In section 17 of the Local Government Act 1988 (local and other public authority contracts: exclusion of non-commercial considerations), in subsection (8)— in the definition of “industrial dispute", for “the Trade Union and Labour Relations Act 1974" substitute “ Part V of the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992 ”, and in the closing words, for “Trade Union and Labour Relations Act 1974" substitute “ Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992 ”.
