Schedule A1, Part IX, paragraph 171A(1)

In this Schedule “pay” does not include terms relating to a person’s membership of or rights under, or his employer’s contributions to— an occupational pension scheme (as defined by section 1 of the Pension Schemes Act 1993), or a personal pension scheme (as so defined).
