Section 234A(4)

For the purposes of subsection (1) the appropriate period is the period— beginning with the day when the union satisfies the requirement of section 231A in relation to the ballot in respect of the industrial action, and ending with the tenth day before the day, or before the first of the days, specified in the relevant notice.
