Section 45A(6)

For the purposes of this section— in England and Wales, proceedings are commenced when an information is laid, and in Scotland, subsection (3) of section 136 of the Criminal Procedure (Svotland) Act 1995 (date of commencement of proceedings) applies as it applies for the purposes of that section.
