Section 72D(3)

The Certification Officer must not approve a union’s political ballot rules unless the Certification Officer is satisfied that the requirements, so far as applicable, set out in sections 72E to 72P and Schedule A1A, would be satisfied in relation to a ballot held by the union in accordance with the rules.
