Section 73(4)

Where a political resolution (“the old resolution”) is in force and a ballot is held on a new political resolution, then— if the new resolution is passed, the old resolution shall be treated as rescinded, and if it is not passed, the old resolution shall cease to have effect at the end of the period of two weeks beginning with the date of the ballot.
