Schedule 5, Part I, paragraph 9(2)

A person nominated under sub-paragraph (1) above as deputy for a member of a flood defence committee may, by virtue of that nomination, attend and vote at a meeting of a sub-committee of that committee which— has been appointed by that committee under Part II of this Schedule; and is a committee to which the member for whom he is a deputy belongs.
