Schedule 7, paragraph 15

Section 265 of the Public Health Act 1875 (personal liability of members and officers of certain authorities) shall have effect as if— a National Park authority were an authority such as is mentioned in that section; the references in that section to a member of the authority included, in relation to a National Park authority, references to any person who is not such a member but for the time being serves as a member of a committee or sub-committee of such an authority; the references in that section to the purpose of executing that Act and to the purposes of that Act were each, in relation to a National Park authority, references to the purpose of carrying out the functions of that authority by virtue of Part III of this Act; and the words “or rate” were omitted.
